CADABRA
NORTH AMERICAN FOALS ELIGIBLE FOR TWO ADDITIONAL REGISTRIES

Cadabra was the first Australian Stock Horse stud to be imported into Canada.
Arriving in Canada in the spring of 2009, Cadabra, has been shown in the Alberta Reined Cowhorse Association in the 2009 and 2010 season. As the first overseas ASH horse to compete overseas his achievements are unprecedented placing reserve both seasons within the ARCHA, creating a place for himself in the history books. Cadabra has since returned home to his homeland of Australia, and he will be missed here at McArthur Farms.
As a resident of Alberta or simply an equine enthusiast you would have been able to witness his versatility displayed during his participation at the inaugural EXTREME COWBOY CHALLENGE at the 2010 Calgary Stampede or the many Equine Trade Shows including Spruce Meadows and the Mane Event in Red Deer Alberta presenting in the Breeds demo's and evening Equine Spectacular Show arena. CADABRA is a stunning example of the Australian Stock Horse type in conformation, ability and temperament.

MCARTHUR STUD FARM is temporarily unable to market and distribute CADABRA
frozen semen within North America. As our farm remains the exclusive NORTH
AMERICAN distributors of CADABRA's semen updates of its availability will be
posted on our website or the International FB page as offered.

His sire, Palmers Fort Abdul, who sadly passed away in October 2005, was a 'sire of sires' and winner of multiple ASH events whilst also being a competitive Open campdrafter. His sire, the Warwick Gold Cup winner Abdul-IS, was from foundation Australian Stock Horse lines by Abbey-FS, and out of Comara Princess-FM.
Palmers Fort Abdul's dam is the prolific producer, Palmers Sissy-FM, who mothered the stallion, Better View Gunfire, the sire of a Cloncurry Challenge winner and a Warwick Gold Cup winner.

An outstanding aspect of Cadabra's pedigree is that he is a son of one of Australia's top campdraft mares, Star Caddie. Owned by Mr Phillip Roberts, and campaigned by the renowned riders of great campdrafters, Terry & Christine Hall from Goondiwindi, Star Caddie has a performance record to challenge most stallions, let alone broodmares!
Perhaps her most outstanding achievement however, was placing second from a field of hundreds in the 1998 Warwick Gold Cup under Ken Boulton. She also brings top Australian Stock Horse bloodlines into play being herself sired by the great Star Black Minstral-FS from Mills Stud Caddie, an own daughter of Elliots Creek Cadet-FS.
